NEW THREAT: Israel Threatens ‘Crushing’ Response To Any Hezbollah Strike Following New Threats

Israel’s prime minister says it will deliver a “crushing” strike against Hezbollah if the Lebanese militant group attempts to attack.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was reacting to comments made by Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah.

In an interview Friday, Nasrallah boasted that his group is much stronger than during the 2006 war and is capable of striking anywhere in Israel. Pointing to a map, Nasrallah identified a list of targets he said his group could strike, saying “in all fields, the resistance has developed in quantity and quality.”

Hezbollah Commander Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah on Friday released a new threat against Israel, 13 years after the Second Lebanon War, announcing he can target the ammonia tank in Haifa. He stated he can “attack Israel with ferocity”, making his statements on the Hezbollah-controlled al-Manar TV.

The terrorist leader added that his army has improved weaponry, speaking “both qualitatively and quantitatively”.

“Imagine that there are tens of thousands of rockets that can strike from Netanya to Ashdod, reaching 60-70 kilometers. I do not want to say exact numbers, but we can hit targets in which a large number of Israeli residents live” stated the terrorist commander.

Nasrallah displayed a map during his TV appearance, pointing to Ben-Gurion International Airport, the Port of Ashdod and desalination plants.

He continued his threat: “The Israelis continue to announce if rockets strike the Haifa ammonia tank there will be tens of thousands of dead and wounded”.

At the end of his media event, he expressed his desire to come and worship in al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. “I am speaking logically” he concluded”.

Haifa residents were relieved back in 2017, when a court ruled the tank, which does indeed present as a major target for Hezbollah, must be shut down by the end of July of that year. No, almost two years later, the tank continues operating.

Speaking to his Cabinet Sunday, Netanyahu criticized what he called Nasrallah’s “arrogant” words.

He says “if Hezbollah dares to do something stupid and attack Israel, we will strike it and Lebanon, a crushing military strike.”
