Older Bnei Brak Resident Threatens a Chareidi Neighbor with a Knife


A 63-year-old man who lives in the Kiryat Herzog neighborhood of Bnei Brak pulled a knife against his chareidi neighbor, the result of an ongoing dispute between the two. Police arrived on the scene, on Ganichovsky Street in Bnei Brak after receiving a report of a domestic dispute involving a knife. The older man damaged property and was taken into custody.

Police report that they saw soapy water running in the stairwell along with graffiti, both attributed to the threatening neighbor, all connected to the ongoing argument between the two. When police probed, they followed the trail, which led to the apartment of the man who had the knife. They placed him under arrest.

He was scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday in the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court.
