Tel Aviv Family Court Orders Mother To Vaccinate Her Children

The Tel Aviv Family Court ordered a woman to vaccinate her children after the children’s father filed a lawsuit against her, a Haaretz report said on Monday.

The woman was ordered to vaccinate her two children, aged four and seven, within 14 days.

“Although I got the impression that the defendant is acting in accordance with her worldview for the children’s benefit, the arguments she made against vaccinating were general, vague and not backed by evidence,” the judge wrote.

The mother submitted a letter from a doctor that her children had sensitivities to vaccines but apparently the doctor in question didn’t even examine the children. Additionally, the court said that the Health Ministry has summoned this doctor to a hearing for spreading information against vaccination for children or adults, which can undermine public health and is considered deceiving the public.

The judge also wrote in her ruling that the mother did not submit any official medical documents which supported or proved her claims about her children’s sensitivities. On the other hand, there is a proven and documented risk of measles and other diseases that vaccines can prevent.

  1. Finally a judge that has seichel!! BH!! Go Daddy GO!!! I have a cousin whose father took the kids out for a few hours,, took them to the doc, caught them all up on their vaccines. Mom is getting her info from crazy people,, Dad works in the medical field.

  2. momx3BH, just out of curiosity, what happened when the kids came home crying, with bandaids & prizes? Did mom go off the deep end? It seems a spiteful way to solve this dilemma (please note, I am 100% committed to vaccinations.)
