Levaya of R’ Yitzchak Klein Z”L, One of Rav Elimelech Firer’s Aides


YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of Rav Yitzchak Levi Z”L, of Petach Tikvah, known as a “man of chessed” as he was one of the medical advisors to the head of Ezra L’Marpeh, Rav Elimelech Firer. The niftar battled a difficult illness and died at the age of 62 on Sunday morning.

During the last half year, he was diagnosed with an illness, and last week, he collapsed and was admitted to Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak. His family was summoned on motzei Shabbos and he was niftar during the night.

The niftar was born to Rav Yehuda Levi Z”L and for many years, served as a medical advisor on a volunteer basis for Rav Firer and Ezra L’Marpeh. He was especially close to Rav Firer.

Those who knew him testify that he was busy with chessed all the time, providing assistance for many who did not know. he is described as a person “whose entire being was chessed” by those who knew him.

He davened in Chanichei Yeshivos in Petach Tikvah on Mustvoi Street, and in the past, he was among the leaders of Tzieri Agudas Yisrael and worked to religious get girls a deferment from IDF service.

The levaya began at noon from his home at 5 HaGetto Street in Petach Tikvah, via the shul on Ichilov Street to the Segulah Cemetery for kvura.
