SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*Sunday, day 12 of the virtual Gaza ceasefire.

*Arabs hurled rocks at Jewish motorists in Chawarah on Sunday night. There were no reports of injuries.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*President Shimon Peres was checked in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital on Sunday evening after he reported not feeling well. He was discharged later in the evening with a clean bill of health.

*Opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu postponed a trip to Russia which was scheduled for next week. He was to meet with officials including Vladimir Putin.

*Ofer Dekel to fly to Germany as efforts to carry out the prisoner exchange with Hizbullah are underway.

*Movement for Quality Government sends a letter to Public Security Minister Dichter and the police chief not to appoint Tel Aviv Police Chief Ilan Franco as the new deputy police chief of the force due to the report against him from the Zeiler Commission.

*A 17-year-old from Bet Jon was bitten in a leg by a snake. An 11-year-old girl was bitten by a snake in Moshav Dalton. Both are reported in hospital in light condition.

*A 10-year-old boy was forgotten in Ben-Gurion Airport. Only after the Turkish Air flight left for Turkey did ground crew officials realize he was left behind.

*Public schools officially close for the summer today, Monday.
