MK (Likud) Dr. Yuval Shteinitz, a former chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee, is calling on the government to cancel plans to release arch terrorist Samir Kuntar.

Shteinitz explained that Hizbullah’s pathetic report on Ron Arad, which does not provide any new information, is Israel’s last chance to cancel the deal since Hizbullah is not keeping its end of the bargain, namely providing a comprehensive report regarding the disposition of Arad, who fell into captivity in Lebanon in October 1986.

Shteinitz called on the cabinet not to set a new precedent, the release of terrorists “with blood on their hands” in return for bodies as well refraining from releasing Kuntar, the last negotiating pawn regarding Ron Arad.
