*IDF soldiers involved in counter-terrorism operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron on motzei Shabbos arrested two terrorists, in Chevron and Shechem. The two were turned over to the ISA (Israel Security Agency Shin Bet) for interrogation.

*A guard and two prisoners were lightly injured in a blaze in Tel Monde Prison on motzei Shabbos. They were treated for smoke inhalation.
*British PM Brown arrived in Israel on motzei Shabbos.
*Max Jaben, who qualified for the 200 meter freestyle swimming, became the second Israeli athlete to fail a recent drug test placing his participation in the 2008 Beijing Olympics in jeopardy.
