The Trend That Is Worrying Israel’s Security Establishment

Israeli security officials are worried about a new trend, made evident by the terror attack in Ramot on Friday and the shooting attacks in Neve Yaakov and Ir Dovid two weeks ago, Kikar H’Shabbat reported on Sunday.

Young Israeli-Arabs with no organizational affiliation with terrorist organizations and no prior security background carry out “self-sacrifice” attacks [as they are termed in the security system] and succeed in carrying out serious attacks.

The Shin Bet began to notice the trend in recent months. Tragically, the theory was strengthened by the Neve Yaakov terror attack, which was carried out by a resident of East Jerusalem without any security history or affiliation with terror groups. The 13-year-old terrorist who carried out the Ir Dovid attack also had no security background or organizational affiliation.

The Ramot terrorist, as a resident of the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya without any organizational affiliation or security background, also fits the profile.

The fear of security officials and Shin Bet operatives is that the attacks will motivate more young Arabs from East Jerusalem to carry out similar attacks, chalilah. In such cases, involving young Arabs with no organizational affiliation or security past, preemptive deterrence via intelligence is almost impossible.

  1. “no organizational affiliation with terrorist organizations and no prior security background”

“also had no security background or organizational affiliation”
“without any organizational affiliation or security background”

yeah like it matters or it’s what we’re supposed to be looking for… they are MUSLIM ARABS with sick & hateful jihadist ideology who want all the Jews DEAD (savagely tortured choked and thrown into the sea!)

–> they must all be immediately forced out at gunpoint or killed

    ונִשְׁמַרְתֶּם מְאֹד לְנַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם

    – also force them to pay for their own deportation

  2. No matter how many security measures Israel makes, those security measures will NEVER be enough to guarantee safety from terrorist attacks, until 100% of Arabs and Muslims who live in Israel are permanently expelled.

In the 1980s, an Orthodox Rabbi from Brooklyn repeatedly gave the Jewish People a warning about Arabs and Muslims who live in Israel: “THEY MUST GO!!!”.

If that advice had been taken seriously in the 1980s, then Arab terror attacks would have ended decades ago, and only Jews above age 50 would be old enough to remember them.

Send all the so-called “Palestinians” to China with a one-way-ticket.
    China knows how to handle Muslim terrorists;
the so-called “Palestinians” will vanish forever 🙂

  3. This isn’t some newfound chidush, it’s a fact that has been known ever since security intelligence was a thing. When I was in the army, we were told repeatedly that the most dangerous terrorist is the “lone wolf” – since, obviously, there is no Intel to be had.

That’s the importance of Ben Gvirs suggested reforms for East Jerusalem – that the change has to be a foundational one, for instance a change in the education system. Their education is in the hands of those who brain wash the kids to hate Israel… So they grow up with this nonsense dictating their entire lives

Thank you for reminding us all “Ain lonu lehishoain elloh al avinu shebashomayim”
He is trying to show us that no hishtadlus can work!!
We must daven and fix ourselves!

  6. @Marxist, you really think the Shin Bet doesn’t organize terrorist incidents? I have no mental illness, but I have reason to believe “mental illness” is a label police states use to have people tortured who pose a risk to the regime for point out stuff like that police states fake terrorism to spook the public. You honestly sound like a spook to me, and really quite honestly, when you accuse someone of mental illness in a regime where they have the “mentally ill” tortured, like electrocuted on closed facilities without any judicial oversight, it might not be inappropriate to regard you as a moser. Anyway, glad I don’t live in harm’s way under a corrupt and dangerous regime in Yisroel. And, quite frankly, I do not want to be a member of any nation with people like you, so there, good luck to you, guy. I bet you vaxed out.

  7. Schmendrick, big accusations require big evidence, clear evidence, and verifiable evidence.

You made a very big accusation, with NO EVIDENCE. Rumors are NOT evidence!

Our Rabbis teach that someone who accuses another person falsely will go down to hell [Gehinom] and never come up again.

  8. Well, you are correct that I for one do not possess evidence that any intelligence agency of the regime is responsible for the current wave of supposed terrorist incidents, but I can say with the utmost confidence that to whichever extent I am a credible witness I first-hand witnessed on the scene in the aftermath of two supposed stabbings in 2015 a preponderance of evidence that most reasonably can be interpreted as evidence of false flag attacks then. I also can discuss evidence of prior false flag attacks with anyone willing to consider (with respect of me) the possibility that false flag attacks do occur there. For instance, just look up the Lavon Affair. The Lavon Affair suggests that the regime has professional staff whose job is to organize false flags. If so then, why not now? Needless to say, any intelligence agency that engages in false flag attacks on its own people would do so covertly, so as to ensure plausible deniability. I can very easily identify a motive for the regime engaging in false flag attacks on its own people now of all times, namely to produce the “rally ’round the flag effect” (or syndrome), which also might account for why so many of you attack my character for raising the possibility (if you yourselves are not spooks doing their job, trying to discredit me on behalf of the regime). It would seem to me that just about every state that coerced its population to participate in deadly genetic experiments now has a motive to create diversions that increase the public confidence in the state for public protection. This wave of “terrorism” would fit that bill. If it weren’t for my unique personal experiences in support of the theory that the regime there does this kind of dirty work, then I might find the idea ridiculous, perhaps even delusional, just like I once thought of 9/11 conspiracy theories before I did my research, but I know what I know now, and I don’t think I’m the crazy one. I think the crazy ones are responsible for this wave of “terrorism” and actually work for the regime. If that suspicion costs me my portion in the world to come, I don’t think I would want a portion there anyway. In any case, my original comment used the qualifier “probably”. I don’t know definitely. But, it seems probable to me. Please do not slander me for my attempt to interpret the information available to me according to what I regard as the most plausible theory. Thank you, and a nice day to you too.
