WATCH: LIBERAL INSANITY IN TEL AVIV: Leftist Mob Attacks Senior Dati Leumi Rav

A leftist mob in Tel Aviv violently attacked Rav Yigal Levinstein, the head of the pre-military mechinah in Eli, and Yisrael Zeira, the head of the Rosh Yehudi organization, on Tuesday evening in Tel Aviv.

The leftists were protesting against Zeira in the wake of the decision of the Tel Aviv municipality to ban mechitzos at the Yom Kippur tefillah led by Rosh Yehudi at Dizengoff Square every year. The frenzied mob attacked the two men as Rav Levinstein left a building where he delivered a shiur. The men had to be protected from the crowd, who tried hitting and kicking them, and verbally assaulted them, by police officers. Some of the protesters even tried hitting them with their flagpoles. Anyone who passed by the area who was wearing a yarmulke was attacked as well.

Aviad Nachshoni, who accompanied Rav Yigal Levinstein to the lecture, said: “Dozens of protesters tried to physically attack us with sticks and their hands. If the police officers wouldn’t have protected the Rav with their bodies, it would have ended very badly.”

Finance Chairman Betzalel Smotrich wrote: “Last night, we saw a scene that appeared as if it was taken from dark periods of Jewish history. A Rav and a religious citizen are brutally attacked by a violent mob due to their beliefs. Gantz and Lapid are silent. This will end in bloodshed and it will be on their hands.”

It should be noted that Lapid refused to condemn the incident when asked about it on Wednesday.

Likud MK Moshe Saada responded to the shocking footage by stating: “This is the punishment for those who dared to seek to hold a tefillah in the square of the ‘most liberal city in the world’ during the holiest day for Jews: a siege, verbal violence, an actual lynching attempt, and rescue by police forces.”

“I will explain again,” Sa’ada wrote, “a Jew who sought to organize Jewish tefillos in the first Hebrew city – was rescued by police from a lynching attempt. The radical and extremist elements are damaging Israel’s image, harming the lives of citizens, and dividing Israeli society. You should be ashamed!”

The chairman of the Knesset’s Constitution Committee Simcha Rothman wrote: “As expected, the bullies who pursue, harass, curse and threaten, claiming freedom of protest against elected officials, have now turned to attack religious Jews in the streets in a display of hatred for the other, all under the flags of democracy and equality. The support in the silence of law enforcement officials and members of the opposition is a disgrace.”

Right-wing activist Menny Asyag posted a photo of a sign the protesters held that read A Jewish Democratic State. He wrote; “This is the entire truth of the protests and their ultimate goal. We’ll never allow them to win! Never!”

  1. The saddest story – I wonder if we appreciate the level of tragedy.
We need to storm the heavens. We need Moshiach NOW!!!
I know it’s cliche but isn’t it true?
    Gmar chasima tova. Hashem Yaazor.

  2. He is dati leumi…but, the fascist lefty protesters had protested against separating seats at yom kippur prayers…

    ___

Protest against segregated prayer: Rabbi Levinstein and the CEO of Rosh Yehudi were attacked in Tel Aviv
Dozens of protesters protested against the “Jewish Head” organization in protest of Yom Kippur prayers – in the segregation it maintains in Dizengoff Square | Rabbi Yigal Levinstein and the CEO of the organization were violently attacked and rescued by police | MKs strongly condemn: “A show of hatred; Kristallnacht” | documentation (news)

  3. “The leftists were protesting against Zeira in the wake of the decision of the Tel Aviv municipality to ban mechitzos at the Yom Kippur tefillah led by Rosh Yehudi at Dizengoff Square every year.”

    clear as mud.

  4. Regarding the pic at the end

So Jews don’t belong in a democratic country? I see where this is going

To explain, the prayers with mechitza doesn’t negate a separate location without a mechitza

    That is democracy

  5. The leftists were protesting against Zeira in the wake of the decision of the Tel Aviv municipality to ban mechitzos at the Yom Kippur tefillah led by Rosh Yehudi at Dizengoff Square every year.

It sounds like the leftists wanted the mechitzas from this sentence. THE LEFTIST WERE PROTESTING AGAINST Zeira in the wake of THE DESICION OT THE TEL AVIV MUNICIPALITY TO BAN MECHITZOS at ….

In other words they were pro the mechitzos?

Whoever wrote this article didn’t write this properly. BUSHA!

  6. Its about time that we stop describing these leftists as “liberals”.
Liberals existed when I had hair on my head. (that was a while ago)

  7. These scenes are like what took place back when the wicked rishaim who tried to destroy Noachs taiva once he got in. These rishaim arurim are the erev rav. They know deep down that their days are numbered. They will not survive the chevlei Moshiach. 4/5th’s aren’t going to make it to the finish line. They might as well enjoy another portion of pork this coming Yom Kippur r”l.

  8. On what “right” do the anti-Judaism racist-lefty fanatics sit in Eretz Yisrael ?

If they reject the Tanach – history, then it is only they who are racists. On what right — if they don’t accept the Tanach Jewish history — do they dwell after they conquered villages where Arab immigrants (or their children, today they’re called “Palestinians”) lived before?

    Uganda?

    (Haaretzism).

  9. First they protested against Chareidim refusing to go to the army, but now the attack the dati leumi Rabbanim who DO go to the army, so, it’s just plain hatred!

  10. An uproar on the web: a school principal forbade students to put on tefillin.

In the documentation, the principal can be heard warning the students not to place tefillin on the school grounds: “You chose to study here, you will behave according to the conditions I set.”
