IDF: Soldier Acted Appropriately in Na’alin

The Arabs are accusing IDF soldiers of unjustifiably shooting and critically wounding a 40-year-old mentally impaired resident of Na’alin on Monday.

According to the Office of the IDF Spokesperson, an investigation into the incident reveals the soldiers acted properly. It is explained the force entered a home in the village to make an arrest when the suspect attempted to grab the weapon from a soldier. A rubber bullet was fired, penetrating the victim’s eye and lodging in his brain. He is hospitalized in a PA hospital in Ramallah.

The IDF rejects allegations that soldiers fired without justification and it appears the military is standing behind the soldiers involved in the incident.
