Doctors Will Attempt to Save Soldier’s Right Eye

Doctors will be performing surgery on the right eye of the IDF soldier injured in the Monday acid attack at Chawarah Junction in Shomron.

A woman in her 50s, who was passing through the humanitarian lane, threw acid in the soldier’s face. The woman is in custody.

Doctors in Beilinson Hospital report the soldier’s right eye sustained serious burns. On Monday it was announced that he lost the sight in the eye, but today, Tuesday, it appears they are still fighting to restore the vision of the Golani Brigade soldier.
