Israeli Activists Block Humanitarian Aid Trucks From Entering Gaza

Activists from the Tzav 9 and The Reservists movements held a protest at the Kerem Shalom crossing on Wednesday morning, blocking access to humanitarian aid trucks on their way to Gaza.

The protest took place a day after 93 trucks of aid entered the Strip on Tuesday, following Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s decision earlier this week to resume aid to the Strip.

Reut Ben Chaim, the chairwoman of Tzav 9, said: “The passage of aid trucks to Hamas is an indescribable injustice, and we cannot stand idly by while this harm to our hostages continues. The people of Israel have come to stop this horror and the support of terror organizations while 58 hostages are being held in the Gaza Strip.”

Cap. (Res.) Ashriel Mahlev of The Reservists movement said: “While our friends are being killed in battle in Gaza, the State of Israel is sending Hamas aid on a silver platter. This is not humanitarian—it is national suicide and humanitarian ammunition. Every truck that enters the Strip prolongs the war. The time has come to say: no aid until the hostages are home. We will be here every week—hundreds of reservists who will come and stop this insane move with their bare hands.”

Police arrested two protesters.

  1. Let every soldier walk away from his unit. Then let the fat cat elite generals go into Gaza and fight. Just block all media and internet in Gaza and it won’t be an issue.
