Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to maintain a relatively light official schedule during his visit this week to Florida, according to an agenda released by his office to the traveling press pool.
Netanyahu is scheduled to depart Israel tomorrow at 7:30 a.m., landing in Florida at approximately 2:00 p.m. local time.
On Monday, the Prime Minister will meet U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in the early afternoon, followed by a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago at 3:30 p.m.
No official meetings are currently scheduled for Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Netanyahu will meet with Evangelical leaders at 10:30 a.m. at his hotel. He will later travel to the Shul of Bal Harbour for an event with lawmakers, Jewish and community leaders, and local students.
Netanyahu is set to depart Florida on Thursday afternoon and is expected to arrive back in Israel early Friday afternoon.
During his meeting with President Trump, Netanyahu is expected to present intelligence indicating that Iran is successfully rebuilding its ballistic missile program and will seek a “green light” for possible military action.
The Prime Minister will also make clear to Trump that Israel will not agree to move to Phase B of the Gaza Strip plan until Hamas fully disarms and the final Israeli hostage, Ran Gvili, is returned for burial in Israel.
The visit comes amid growing concern over Iran’s military capabilities. Last week, NBC News reported that Israeli officials believe Iran is restoring production capabilities damaged in previous strikes and is also working to rebuild its air defense systems — developments Israeli officials reportedly view as a more immediate threat than Iran’s nuclear program itself.
