The IDF carried out a series of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Shabbos after Hamas violated the ceasefire, killing 29 Gazans, according to the Gazan health ministry.

The IDF said the strikes in Gaza were carried out in response to Hamas’s repeated violations of the ceasefire. According to the military, at least three terrorists were killed near Rafah on Friday night after being spotted exiting a tunnel in the city’s eastern area. Additional strikes later targeted locations where other terrorists attempted to flee.

In a separate incident, Israeli fighter jets eliminated four armed terrorists near the Yellow Line in central Gaza after they were identified by troops from the Kfir Brigade.

An IDF spokesperson said the army and Shin Bet targeted commanders and infrastructure belonging to Hamas and Islamic Jihad, including a weapons depot, a weapons manufacturing facility, and two Hamas launch sites.

The statement added that the “terrorist organizations in Gaza systematically violate international law by exploiting civilian facilities and operating among the civilian population, and said it would continue to act against any attempt to carry out attacks on Israeli civilians or IDF forces.

Around midday, the IDF also struck a target in southern Lebanon. Lebanese reports said one person was killed in the village of Rabeh Talatin.
