A woman was killed, and 20 people were injured in an Iranian rocket barrage that hit two buildings in Tel Aviv at about 11:30 p.m. on Motzei Shabbos.

A man in his 40s was seriously wounded by shrapnel. Three other victims were moderately wounded, and the other victims were lightly injured.

MDA paramedic Uri Garbi said, “From the first moment, it was clear this was a severe scene. We saw thick black smoke rising from a residential building with major destruction, cars on fire, and a great deal of chaos. We quickly established a casualty treatment point near the site and provided medical care to several wounded, some of whom were already evacuated to the hospital. Among the first casualties brought to us were a man around 40 in serious condition and a man around 30 in moderate condition. At the same time, together with Home Front Command, fire services, and police, we are conducting further searches for additional casualties and treating more injured at the scene.”

The Tel Aviv District Police Commander told reporters there were direct hits on two buildings in the city. “This is a severe scene, and we are carrying out searches. We have rescued five people from one of the buildings, but the work is ongoing,” he said.

It is estimated that 16 missiles were launched in the barrage: eight at Israel, two at the UAE, two at Qatar, and two at Jordan.
