Asked if there is any credibility to the rumor that Deputy Health Minister (Yahadut HaTorah) Yaakov Litzman requested to meet with Maran Rav Ovadia Yosef Shlita, Shas leader Eli Yishai confirmed the report.

Yishai responded on Monday night, stating that it is unlikely that the meeting will take place this week, but stated such a meeting is indeed being planned, indicating he does not know exactly what is on Litzman’s agenda.
