Police are continuing the investigation into Ashdod resident, 56-year-old Gregory Rabinowitz, a taxi driver, whose body was found in the brush in an orchard near Gan Yavne on Monday. His taxi was found in the area as well.
Chanoch Pe’er, his brother-in-law, appears to be the last person who spoke with Gregory, on Sunday at about 5pm. He then disappeared. Police confirm there are signs of a violent struggle on the body of the victim, announcing on Sunday they believe the ‘incident’ was a terrorist motivated murder. Police have not announced that any terror organization has boasted responsibility for the heinous act.
