A security guard was assaulted at Ra’anana Junction on Monday evening. The attackers fled with his weapon. The injured man was transported to Meir Hospital with moderate injuries. Three suspects were arrested later Monday night.

**The Arab driver/terrorist shot dead near Betar on Tuesday morning has been identified as a resident eastern Jerusalem.

**Explosions heard in the Akko and Nahariya areas on Tuesday morning were the result of IAF training exercises in the north, caused by sonic booms of fighter jets.

**Beersheva Magistrate’s Court Justice Nasr Abu Taber has authorized of a PA resident found illegally in Israel to permit him to wed during Id el-Fitr. The court stated the magnanimous decision was due to the fact that we are in the month of “slichos and rachamim”.
