IDF Shimshon Battalion soldiers Achiya Ovadia and Aryeh Arbus on Wednesday night received �Heroes of Israel� awards for their actions, holding up a sign that they will not evict Jews from Chomesh during a Shimshon swearing-in ceremony at the Kosel, as was reported by YWN-Israel. The SOS Israel organization presented the awards at a Jerusalem ceremony.

The soldiers were sentenced to 20 days in prison, and at the ceremony, they explained they will receive NIS 1,000 for each day in jail, each receiving a cash award for their actions of NIS 19,800.
