Report: Olmert’s Master Peace Plan Revealed

olf1.jpgAccording to an exclusive Haaretz report, former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was indeed extremely generous with the PA (Palestinian Authority), offering unprecedented land concessions towards reaching an agreement with the PA.

What was known previously is that Olmert offered land parcels from communities in southern Israel, along the Gaza border, communities that endured 8+ years of rocket attacks but remained unyielding in their commitment to the land and the homes. These same farmers were to be ousted as were the Jews of Gush Katif and N. Shomron to enable the PA to expand its land contiguity in Gaza. According to the report, the new Gaza border would be adjacent to Kibbutz Be’eri, Nir Ohz and Kissufim.

Haaretz adds that the prime minister also offered nature reserve areas in the Judean Desert. This would include areas near Nataf and Mevo Betar, bringing the terrorism directly into the heart of the homeland.

Olmert did not stop here, offering land near Kibbutz Tirat Tzvi, located in the Beit Shean Valley, as well as in the Lachish and Yatif Forest area. The master plan entailed turning over 327 square kilometers of land from inside Green Line Israel to the terrorist state.

HaKadosh Baruch Hu apparently had different plans since Olmert presented his master plan to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) last September, and then talks between Israel and Ramallah broke down, so the offer was lost.

Regarding Yehuda and Shomron, Olmert planned to annex 6.3% of those areas to the State of Israel, claiming that accounts for 75% of the population living in those areas. He plan would have resulted in the eradication of many communities, including Ofrah, Beit El, Elon Moreh, many Jordan Valley communities as well as Chevron’s Jewish community, Kiryat Arba and yishuvim in the S. Chevron Hills area. In return, Israel would have annexed Maale Adumim, Ariel, Beit Aryeh and a bloc of communities in Gush Etzion.

The report also states that former US President George W. Bush gave a verbal commitment to allocate financial aid towards developing the Galil and Negev areas to resettle the displaced residents.

Officials in the former prime minister’s office released a response, stating that for reasons of “national responsibility” they cannot address the details of the report and reported maps, but did state the report does contain many inaccuracies.
