The father of NYPD Officer Didarul Islam suffered a stroke after learning his son was killed in Monday’s Midtown Manhattan shooting by gunman Shane Tamura, relatives told the New York Post. The tragedy also deeply affected Islam’s pregnant wife, who is due to give birth next month. Islam, a married father of two, was among four people fatally shot at the 44-story Park Avenue building.
