
USPS is honoring Nobel Peace Prize laureate and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel with the 18th stamp in its Distinguished Americans series. Wiesel (1928-2016), author of Night and tireless voice for Holocaust remembrance and human rights, will be featured on a stamp releasing Sept. 17. The design shows a 1999 black-and-white portrait of Wiesel, alongside the word Humanitarian. Sheets of 20 (two-ounce rate) are already available for pre-order.
