Residential buildings, business centers, and critical infrastructure were left without electricity in San Francisco yesterday, impacting about 130,000 households and businesses.

Traffic lights went dark, trams were halted mid-route, and several metro stations were temporarily closed.

Electricity has since been almost fully restored for all customers.
