Belgium has formally joined South Africa’s case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Belgium filed a declaration of intervention, aligning itself with South Africa’s genocide case concerning Israel’s “conduct” in Gaza. The filing allows Belgium to present its legal position to the court as proceedings continue.
