Iran has launched three advanced Earth-observation satellites — Zafar-2, Paya, and Kowsar-1.5 — into low-Earth orbit aboard a Soyuz rocket from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia’s Amur region.
The satellites are intended for imaging and data-transmission missions.
