Israeli soldiers discovered what appears to be a Hamas tunnel after heavy rains caused the ground to collapse near the Gaza border.

The site was found about 800 meters (roughly half a mile) from the security fence, near the Israeli community of Kissufim.

The IDF says it is now examining the tunnel’s route and is probing whether this is a previously undiscovered Hamas tunnel.
