Trump Admin Deploys 2,000 Federal Immigration Agents to Minnesota

The Trump administration has begun deploying roughly 2,000 federal immigration agents to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area as part of an expanded crackdown tied to fraud investigations in Minnesota.

The surge, one of the largest DHS deployments in a U.S. city in recent years, will run for about 30 days and includes ICE deportation officers, Homeland Security Investigations agents, and tactical teams.
