European Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced that Iranian diplomats, government officials, and regime representatives are now barred from entering all European Parliament premises in Brussels, Strasbourg, and Luxembourg, in response to Tehran’s crackdown on protesters.

The move takes effect immediately and includes all staff of Iranian diplomatic missions. Metsola said the decision is meant to show the Parliament’s support and solidarity with the Iranian people, as protests and the regime’s violent response continue.
