Police have identified Mordechai Grunberger z”l, a 71-year-old Jewish pastry chef, as the man killed in a workplace accident at a kosher grocery store in North Miami Beach, Florida, early Friday morning.

According to authorities, Grunberger became trapped in an industrial dough-mixing machine while working at the store’s bakery. Emergency responders were called, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the incident is being treated as a tragic workplace accident, with no signs of foul play. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing.
