Channel 13 reports that senior officials at Ben Gurion Airport are recommending the immediate closure of Israeli airspace.

A discussion is expected to take place soon regarding the closure of the skies following the war situation. The discussion will include senior officials from the operations and security sectors, including the head of the Airports Authority, Shmuel Zakay, and the Director-General of the Israel Airports Authority, together with representatives from the Transportation Ministry and the police.

The final decision rests with the Israeli government, expected to be made by Transportation Minister Miri Regev following consultations with airport authorities.
