Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says diplomatic efforts are “progressing strongly,” urging President Trump to extend his deadline by two weeks.

Sharif also called on Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and pushed for a temporary two-week ceasefire to allow negotiations to move forward.
