UKMTO Announces Maritime Restrictions on Access to Iranian Ports and Waters Effective 14:00 UTC

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced that new maritime restrictions on access to Iranian ports and coastal areas will take effect at 14:00 UTC.

The measures apply to vessels of all flags operating with Iranian ports, oil terminals, and coastal facilities across the Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, and the Arabian Sea east of the Strait of Hormuz.

The restrictions cover the entire Iranian coastline, with neutral ships already in port granted a limited grace period to depart.
