Bloomberg reports that Gulf Arab and European officials believe a U.S.-Iran peace deal could take around six months to finalize, and are urging the current ceasefire to be extended during that time.

According to the report, officials say keeping the Strait of Hormuz open is a top priority, warning that renewed conflict could disrupt global shipping and push energy prices higher.
