Police say a driver intentionally crashed a car into the 2nd District police station in Northeast Philadelphia Tuesday, injuring five civilians.

Authorities say the suspect was taken into custody after plowing into the lobby from Castor Avenue. All five victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Commissioner Kevin Bethel called it an “absolute deliberate act.” The FBI and Joint Terrorism Task Force are investigating.
