President Trump announced that Qatar’s Emir, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed urged him to hold off on a planned U.S. military strike against Iran as negotiations continue.

Trump said he agreed to pause the planned operation, saying a potential deal must guarantee “no nuclear weapons for Iran,” but warned the U.S. military remains prepared to launch a large-scale strike on short notice if negotiations fail.
