Iranian hackers were reportedly behind the March cyberattack on Los Angeles’ transit system, with Israeli researchers linking the breach to the pro-Iran hacking group “Ababil.”

Hackers claimed to have wiped large amounts of L.A. Metro data, while the breach reportedly disrupted some arrival screens and prevented customers from adding money to transit cards. The same group also claimed attacks targeting South Florida’s Tri-Rail system, Vyncs, and Saudi infrastructure firm Unimac.
