Welcome to the five minute Iyun shiur on the daf, delivered by the renowned Rosh Kollel and Rosh Chaburah R Moshe Chaim Katz Shlita. R Katz has been part of BMG’s Kinyan Shas BeIyun Dirshu chaburah for close to 2 decades, which he now leads as a Rosh Chaburah. We cannot think of a more competent candidate to be chosen to undertake this momentous project. Having completed Shas BeIyun, publishing ספרים, and delivering weekly chaburos all provide R Katz the perfect background to launch such a daunting project. Additionally, Rav Moshe Chaim katz currently gives a daily Daf Yomi Shiur in Kollel Ner Avrohom. His clear concise hasboro has endeared him to the B’nai chaburah. In his quest to give over depth to the Sugya where it’s most needed, he has developed a unique style of the seven minute shiur.

The shiur will be a 5 to 8 minute video, dedicated to enhancing ones comprehension and understanding of the main topics discussed in that days Daf. The purpose of the shiur is to address the focal סוגיות, and it will encompass the ראשונים, אחרונים, ושיעורי הראשי ישיבות. Not only will the shiur provide one with a plethora of valuable material on the Daf, but it will also serve to hone your analytical skills, that might otherwise get dull or rusty.
