Sprinkle Cookies

The simplest and the best. Decorate how you like – with multi-colored and multi-shaped sprinkles. This can also be a summer activity with your kids.

¾ cup (1-1/2 sticks) margarine, softened

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

2-1/2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease cookie sheets.  Cream together margarine and sugar.  Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour and baking powder until smooth. Break off pieces of dough and roll into small balls.  Place on prepared cookie sheets and flatten slightly.  Add desired sprinkles.  Bake for about 10 minutes.  Remove to rack to cool.
