It could help another human being as well. Why only a Yid? Is it usser to donate to a goy?
here we go again… I will try to explain it to you as clearly as possible: This is DNA driven – the chances of having a match between a Jew and a Jew is much greater than between a Jew and a non-Jew. I am not going to get into the halachic dispute between usser or not to give to a non-Jew – check with your local Orthodox Rabbi.
