At the end of last week, over a thousand people made their way admidst much music and dancing to the kever of Shimon HaTzaddik in Yerushalayim, starting in the wee hours of the morning of his hilula to recite tehillim and pour out their hearts in tefilah. Security in the area was on high alert and Hatzalah volunteers were on standby – thankfully neither of their services were needed.
