WNBC and WCBSTV are reporting that the NYPD has taken a suspect into custody & have identified two others who they believe were the shooters of two police officers early Monday as was reported HERE on YW.
One of the officers, Belarus-born Russel Timshenko, 23, remained in critical condition with a severe head wound. The second officer, Herman Yan, was in stable condition with gun-shot wounds to the chest and forearm. The NYPD said it appeared that his bullet-proof vest saved his life.
Our thoughts and prayers go out their family and friends that they should both have a speedy recovery.

May the two officers have a fast and complete recovery and the perpertrators be caught and locked up for life. Get rid of those illegal gun dealers.

I don’t know if I agree. Reverberator, er, excuse me, Reverand Al Sharpton’s point is that when a black civilian shoots a white cop the black is immediately arrested and gets the worst punishments. However, he claims, when a white cop shoots a black civilian no one says anything, so Loudmouth Al has to make a big protest to pump up his own reputation. Enough people cry out when the victim is white so he doesn’t have to, he claims.
I don’t remember reading anything about the shooters being gun dealers; it said they were driving a car with stolen plates.
