candle914A tragedy occurred on Wednesday, 21 Shevat 5774 in a Rishon L’Tzion park as an 11-month-old girl was killed, the result of a fall.

The incident occurred in a public park on Kalisher Street. The mother arrived with her child. The child was placed on the rubberized surface where she played while mom looked on from a bench nearby. At some point it appears the child was pushed as she played with another child. An employee of the nearby Ofakim School realized something was terribly wrong, running over and beginning to resuscitate the small girl.

Unfortunately life-saving efforts on the 11-month-old girl was not successful.

It is reported that there are no safety flaws in the park that may have lead to the tragic occurrence. Police are investigating.

  1. BD”E. HASHEM YISHMOREINU THIS WEEK HAS BEEN SO TRAGIC SO MANY YOUNG PEOPLE PASSED AWAY, MAY HASHEM HELP THAT WE SHOULD ONLY HEAR B’SIROS TOIVOS!

  2. what a horrific innocent tragedy, brings tears to my eyes.

does anyone think this is just a coincidence? or are we ready to accept & face truth & reality? i.e. are we ready to face Hashem & confess to hashem & do teshuva & beg Hashem for forgiveness to, stop the tzaros in klal yisroel already?

may the neshama have an aliya & may the family be menachem among the mourners of klal yisroel

  3. We only hear about the unusual tragedies in the news, of which there seem to be very many more than “usual”. We don’t even hear of the “natural” tragedies such as young children passing away from illness. Those things also are happening in unprecedented large numbers. Hashem is telling us something and we aren’t hearing it.
