Some of Israel’s most prominent right-wing media figures have turned sharply against Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, accusing two of President Donald Trump’s closest advisers of helping advance an Iran agreement that they say falls short of Israel’s security needs.
The criticism comes amid growing concern in Israel over the emerging U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding, which critics argue focuses on regional stability and reopening the Strait of Hormuz while postponing key issues such as Iran’s nuclear program, ballistic missile development, and support for terrorist proxies.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has avoided publicly criticizing Trump’s envoys. On Monday, however, he reiterated that Israel would continue acting to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons regardless of any agreement. Israeli officials also told Ynet that Netanyahu informed Trump Israel does not consider itself bound by the agreement’s Lebanon-related provisions and will continue military operations against Hezbollah when necessary.
The harshest criticism came from Israel’s conservative Channel 14.
During her morning program, anchor Tal Meir accused Kushner and Witkoff of abandoning Israel.
“They got a little confused in this event. You are part of these people,” Meir said.
“We are here, among other things, to defend you too. In the end, this is your real home, and we are guarding it for you and for your future generations. And you turn your backs on us like this? Simply losers.”
Channel 14 also reported that commentator Yinon Magal accused Kushner and Witkoff of acting under Qatari influence and “selling their brothers in Israel,” while claiming the agreement leaves President Trump appearing politically weakened.
The backlash reflects growing frustration among segments of Israel’s political right, where both Kushner and Witkoff had previously been praised for their roles in Trump’s Middle East policies and hostage negotiations.
According to Ynet, Israeli officials believe the memorandum does not meet four key Israeli demands outlined by Netanyahu: removing Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile, dismantling its enrichment infrastructure, restricting missile production, and ending support for regional terrorist proxies.
Channel 14 cited Israeli security officials as warning that the agreement leaves the core nuclear threat unresolved while prioritizing a rapid diplomatic breakthrough.

Were they asked to explain how this Trump deal will impact Israel?
The Yeshiva World headline should read: Trump Surrenders! Humiliates the United States!
What a thoroughly brainwashed/propagandized Zionist idolater.

No, you are not “guarding it” for anyone. G-d will return us there when He feels like it and, until then, your presence there does not help us in any way.
HaKatan, you are mindless not to thank HKB for Medinat Yisroel. Who would have absorbed over 1 million Jews from the USSR? Jews from Ethiopia? Increasingly Jews from France and the UK?
All these people fail to understand that as president of the US Trump is there to serve the interests of America, and that as opposed to Israel where the war with Iran is existential, for Trump is was simply an “excursion” as he put it. What is most important for the people of America, and for Trump, is that the price of energy both in the US and the world goes down and as a result the hope is that inflation will also go down as well.
When Trump decided to launch Operation Epic Fury alongside Israel’s Operation Roaring Lion Netanyahu said that not since Cyrus the Great was there a powerful foreign leader that was so good for Israel like Trump. So when it turned into a disaster for him and his presidency instead of these people having hakaras hatov to him for putting his presidency on the line for the sake of Israel they are upset at him because they are oblivious to the fact that as president of the US he is required to put the interests of the US before those of Israel.
Kushner witkoff versus hegseth Ratcliffe. As you can see business is beating intelligence. And that’s how you know there’s something frighteningly wrong with this
Secular Jews are our real enemy
This was a very successful operation, destroying their leaders and equipment. Most importantly, Iran demonstrated that they are capable of blocking the gulf and attacking their neighbors. So now finally the world will take expensive measures to decrease reliance on the Gulf: pipelines will be built, new oil production in other parts of the world will appear. So, next time iran will have no leverage.
