Former Chief Rabbi Mordechai [Tzemach ben Mazel Tov] Eliyahu Shlita on Monday is scheduled to undergo a catheterization procedure in Yerushalayim’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where he continues to recuperate since suffering a stroke on Pesach.
Special tefillos will be recited in a number of areas in Eretz Yisrael, including the Kosel, Ma’aras HaMachpelah, Kever Chida in Har Menuchos, Kever Rachel, Kever Baba Sali in Netivot and Kever of the Rashbi in Meron.
The procedure is scheduled to take place between 8:30am-10:30am, at which time tehillim and tefillos are being recited. (Yechiel Spira – YWN Israel)
