The Jerusalem District Court on Thursday, 19 Tammuz 5773 sentenced Muhmad Shuish, a resident of the eastern capital, to five years imprisonment. Shuish was convicted of a stabbing attack that occurred last April in which a chareidi male was targeted near Herod’s Gate.
The attacked was an act of terror, and the conviction was the result of a plea bargain agreement between the state and the defense attorney. Justice Rafi Carmel Tzion added the circumstances surrounding the serious attack call for a stiffer sentence.
