Turkey Promises to Come to Gaza’ s Aid; Plans Another Flotilla

turkisg flagTurkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is signaling his country is coming to Gaza’s rescue with a major airlift including humanitarian supplies and medications for Gaza. Turkey plans to bring the goods to Gaza via Turkish Airline flights to Ben-Gurion International Airport, from there to Egypt and then to Gaza via Rafiach.

At present there is no word from Cairo on the announced plan.

There is also talk of a second Marvi Marmara so-called humanitarian ship that will leave from a Turkish port heading for Gaza, once again planning to break the Israeli marine blockade on Gaza. One report cites Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is willing to provide the vessel with a military escort towards intimidating Israel.

Most senior political analysts believe such an occurrence is most unlikely. Despite Erdogan’s harsh rhetoric against Israel, talk is one thing and actions are an entirely different matter.

Regarding the flotilla I hope they just sink it and if they feel bad watching the poor turks & liberal animals drown they can save them at their discretion.
