Update: 3 Men Arrested in Connection with Last Night’s Shooting of NYPD Officers


nypdsThe NYPD have arrested three people connected in the shooting of two police officers in the Fordham section of the Bronx Monday night.

The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. at East 184th Street and Tiebout Avenue as the officers, who were part of a five-member plain clothes anti-crime team, were searching for suspects wanted in an armed robbery.

Both officers were rushed to St Barnabas Hospital by EMS and are reportedly in stable condition. One was shot in the arm, and one was shot in the back.

Sources tell YWN  that police had responded to calls of a commercial armed robbery, and confronted the suspect who began firing at them. The officers reportedly returned multiple shots to the suspect.

Additionally, YWN has learned that the weapon used was located at 189 St and Park Avenue.

    All crimes recorded in the passed at least 2-3 months, involving guns were done by blacks.
    I am not a racist, just trying to work with facts.
