Mekubal HaRav  Pinchas Schneur ZT”L, 83, was niftar in Yerushalayim late Wednesday night the eve of 28 Adar. He was a member of the Torah Council of Chachmei Morocco. The rav was niftar in his Bayit Vegan home.

Rav Pinchas was born in Morocco on 13 Elul 569. He was given semicha for shechita from the Baba Sali ZT”L ZY”A and he practiced as a shochet for poultry.

The rav, who never parted from his traditional Moroccan garb, was known to have worked wonders for many who sought his assistance. The levaya began on Wednesday night at 22:00. The kvura was in Har Menuchos.
