Yehuda Ben-Moiel, the victim of the Sunday night 24 Menachem Av stabbing attack in the Dor gas station on Highway 443 near Modi’in explains the Arab employees of the station did nothing to assist him but stood by and smiled as he was stabbed in his back. He arrived in Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Yerushalayim in moderate condition.
Speaking to the media on Monday, 25 Menachem Av, Moiel explained he filled his car with gas and was then bending over to fill the tires with air when the attacker came up and stabbed him from behind. He then fled and the attacked chased after him, explaining when he fell the attacker got him. “I shouted help me. He is stabbing me!” he explained the Arab workers just looked on and smiled, not lifting a hand to assist him.
He explains that he managed to get to the Ofir Checkpoint where he received preliminary care. As was reported earlier, the attacker was shot dead by border police that arrived on the scene.
