TEHILLIM – Cheder Rebbi In Williamsburg Is Donating Kidney Today

kidney2A Rebbi in a cheder in Williamsburg is doing a huge Mitzvah right now, and is undergoing surgery to donate his kidney to someone in need.

The Renewal organization tells YWN that the Rebbi was thinking of donating for a number of years after attending a Renewal awareness event, and was recently inspired to donate after hearing from others who had done so.

The recipients community held an awareness event in their Shul on the first night of Selichos and inspired many to call Renewal and learn more about donation. Unfortunately, no-onene that came forward were able to donate at this time.

B”H, kidney transplants have a great success rate. However, there needs to be Siyata Dishmaya that they be successful. Please take a moment to say tehillim for the success of the transplants.

Please be mispallel for:

Donor: Zev ben Sheina Rochel
Recipient: Shoshana Raizel Yittel bas Rivkah

Renewal would like to update all our friends that the 2015 calendar year was a huge success at Renewal as we had a 40% increase in transplants we were in involved in! Many of these donors came forward at the over 30 awareness events held in the various recipient communities.
